Competence Centre Kit

Are you setting up or consolidating a Competence Centre? The Competence Centre Kit is designed to support both emerging and established Competence Centres in becoming active members of the CCNet and contributing to its long-term sustainability and impact.
The kit includes useful materials, practical guides and resources to support your activities and engagement as well as templates and agreements for formalising your participation in the CCNet.

Templates and agreements

To join the network, you may choose between two pathways:
  • Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

A non-legally binding agreement that confirms your Competence Centre’s full membership in CCNet. Signing the MoU grants voting rights, participation in decision-making, and engagement in the governance structure (including the General Assembly, Presidency, Editorial Board, and Working Groups). It reflects a commitment to sustaining and enhancing key Skills4EOSC outputs.

  • Letter of Intent (LoI)

A lighter, non-binding expression of interest suited for Competence Centres that are in early development or exploring engagement. While LoI signatories do not have voting rights, they can nominate two observers to the General Assembly and show alignment with the network’s mission and values.
