Collaborations

Skills4EOSC collaborates with the following organisations, international bodies and projects:

  • RItrainPlus Project

ritrainplusThe RItrainPlus Project brings together research infrastructures, universities, and business management schools to transform the skills and professionalisation of European Research Infrastructures and Core Facilities. It aims to develop targeted training, create a community of practice, and establish a European School of Management for RIs, fostering knowledge exchange and sustainability.
Furthermore, Re Train Plus collaborates with the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) to support cooperation on the professionalisation of RI staff and to enhance service functions within the EOSC ecosystem. The project also aims to promote the adoption of FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) and effective Research Data Management (RDM) practices.
Through their expertise, the Re Train Plus project collaborates with Skills4EOSC to enhance the impact of their initiatives. The collaboration involves joint efforts in curricula and learning path development, organising training sessions, disseminating relevant initiatives, and exploring common paths for sustainability, thereby fostering a synergistic approach to upskilling the workforce and promoting FAIR principles within the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) context.

  • FAIR Impact

EOSC - FAIR-IMPACTFAIR Impact project aims to implement standards, tools, and services that enable researchers to easily find, access, reuse, and combine research results. It involves scientific communities as partners to pilot solutions across domains and promotes wider adoption of FAIR principles, creating a web of interconnected FAIR data and services for enhanced scientific collaboration.
Skills4EOSC and FAIR-IMPACT are collaborating to address FAIR-related needs and design relevant competencies for the Competence Centre workforce. Skills4EOSC will actively participate in some of the Roadshows, on shared topics and contribute to the outreach efforts in targeted countries. This collaboration takes advantage of the projects' different geographical coverage, allowing them to reach a broader audience and have a more significant impact on promoting FAIR principles in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) ecosystem.

  • EOSC Focus Project

EOSCEOSC Focus Project is a Coordination and Support Action that will assist the EOSC Partnership in achieving its mission of establishing Open Science as the standard practice. It provides support, coordination, and operational assistance to the EOSC Association Task Forces and it works closely with the EOSC Association Board of Directors to advance the EOSC Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda and monitoring framework.
Skills4EOSC collaborates with EOSC Focus on initiatives related to identifying the necessary skills and training for the advancement of Open Science and EOSC. Through this partnership, the aim is to provide stakeholders with the appropriate expertise to fully leverage the opportunities offered by Open Science and the EOSC platform.

  • NI4OS Europe (National Initiatives for Open Science)

NI4OSNI4OS Europe is a collaborative project that aims to foster and enhance Open Science adoption in Southeast European countries.
An MoU was signed to share joint efforts on training materials, FAIR principles, learning paths, and promoting cooperation in Open Science and EOSC training.
