Skills4EOSC at the Czech Open Science Week 2025

| Sara Di Giorgio | news

Open Science Week 2025, organised by the Association of Libraries of Czech Universities (AKVŠ), will take place from 10–12 November 2025, featuring both online sessions and an in-person day in Prague. The event offers three days of full inspiration, featuring expert lectures, live discussions, and practical demonstrations on Open Science, research data management, open access, citizen science, and the legal aspects of open science.

Emma Lazzeri will participate in the afternoon of 11 November, presenting: “Project Skills4EOSC – Key Outcomes and the Legacy of Competence Centres Supporting Open Science Training and EOSC Ecosystem” from 14:30 to 14:45. Her talk will provide an overview of the main outcomes of the Skills4EOSC project, which concluded in August 2025, including the Science4Policy Kit, training courses, and the development of Minimum Viable Skillsets. She will also highlight how the emerging network of Competence Centres continues to support Open Science training and the EOSC ecosystem across Europe.

The event is open to anyone interested in FAIR data, open access, and citizen science. Registration is required via this link, and the full program is available here.
